Branson, Missouri, is one of the most veteran-friendly, patriotic cities in America honoring our military every day. Veterans Homecoming Week, November 5-12, has many events planned:
Nov. 5-10 – Veterans Village – Ballparks of America, Buildings 2 & 3, 1000 Pat Nash Drive; Day room 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily, and Mess Hall lunch, free to Veterans, $10 for family/guests, daily 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Nov. 5 – Veterans Celebration Show, Freedom Encounter Theater, 3220 Falls Parkway. This show is the kick-off of Veterans Week where we salute our veterans and say THANK YOU for your service to our country!
Nov. 5 – Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall Opening Ceremony — Lodges at Timber Ridge, 1984 Historic Highway 165, Branson at 10 a.m.
Nov. 5 – Sunday Worship Service with Barbara Fairchild — Baldknobbers Theatre, 645 Highway 165, Branson, at 10 a.m.
Nov. 5 – Opening Ceremonies — Americana Theatre, 2905 West Highway 76, Branson. 5-6:30 p.m. No charge. Open to all military and their families. No reservations required. For info, contact Dee at 870-421-3511.
Nov. 6 – Veterans Show at Clay Cooper Theatre — Following the Hot Rods & High Heels show with tickets to the 10 a.m. show at $20 each. That ticket reserves your seat for lunch and the afternoon Veterans Show. Seating for lunch and the afternoon show is not guaranteed if advance ticket is not purchased. Reservations 417-879-6060.
Nov. 6 – Vietnam Veterans Reunion — AmericInn by Wyndham Branson, 275 Tanger Blvd., Branson, 4-6 p.m. Hot meal, entertainment, door prizes, and lots of time to talk. RSVP Dee at 870-421-3511
Nov. 7 — Sandbox Party — Mel’s Hard Luck Diner, 2800 West 76 Country Blvd., Branson. 8:30-10 a.m. – Mel’s Hard Luck Diner in Grand Village provides breakfast for those who’ve served in the Gulf War or after. NO charge. RSVP Dee 870-421-3511.

Nov. 7 – Pizza Ranch Branson Fundraiser — 1464 State Highway 248, Branson, 4-8:30 p.m. All tips and 10% of sales will benefit the POW Network to pay for events and activities during Veterans Homecoming Week. Bring the family or a friend!
Nov. 8 – POW/MIA Service of Remembrance — The Lodges at Timber Ridge, 1984 Historic Highway 165, Branson. 8 a.m., outdoors at Vietnam Memorial Wall, weather permitting (will move inside if weather is extreme). No admittance charge, public welcome. Information 417-336-4232.
