National nonprofit Our Military Kids announced their 6th Annual Courageous Kids Contest winners on Purple Up Day, which honors the resilience and sacrifice of military children during the Month of the Military Child. The Courageous Kids Contest celebrates children of Reserve, National Guard, and combat-injured veterans from any service branch who have shown bravery and leadership during a parent’s deployment or combat-injury care.
Winners will each receive a cash stipend, national recognition, prizes from GOVX, and certificates. Our Military Kids will share their stories through feature articles and on social media throughout April.
