1st Sgt. (R) D. Keith Johnson served more than 41 years in the National Guard and Army Reserve, including 17 years in Army Reserve Public Affairs. He has performed PA duties for the USARC Business Transformation Office, the US Military Pentathlon Team, multiple short tours and deployments to Bosnia and Afghanistan.
Currently, he is the Wreaths Across America location coordinator for Quaker Cemetery in Camden, South Carolina. Quaker Cemetery has almost 800 Veterans from the American Revolution to Afghanistan buried there.
1st Sgt. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Thomas Edison State University and an Associate in Arts in Education from Indian River Community College. He is married and currently lives in Cincinnati. He has two daughters and eight grandkids that live in South Carolina, one step-son in the Army, stationed in Hawaii and another stepson in his third year at Ohio University.
