Christmas is among the most loved festivities worldwide. Nothing matters more during this season than spreading love to friends and family, and there is no greater way of doing that than adding a few pranks to the table. As inspiring and funny as they are, Christmas pranks can be spectacular, especially if they have a deeper meaning. Nonetheless, everyone needs a good laugh after a tough long year, which is why you need to arm yourself with well-planned pranks to go with your Christmas present this holiday.

Give an insulting Christmas card

Everyone loves money because it solves most of our problems, and inserting some cash in a loved one’s gift card may turn up their mood. Typically, eight out of 10 people accompany their cards with money. If you buy a Christmas card, write how much you care about a loved one and have included some money inside the card, then tape it to the back of the card unseen. Imagine eagerly opening a card, expecting some cash only to find nothing. While they will be disappointed at first, you will have a hearty laugh about it.

Buying a large gift box and inserting a tiny present

For some reason, large gift boxes are usually associated with large or pricey gifts. Most people assume this at least, and it would be disappointing yet hilarious if the opposite happened. For instance, you can get your little brother a PS5 box wrapped neatly with something else inside. While unwrapping the box, he will get excited seeing the PS5 label only to be disappointed with its contents. The whole family will laugh at this and will always remember how the young boy was once fooled

Replacing pizza with vegetables

Pizza is a universal food loved by everyone, especially kids. Imagine the shock on your kids’ faces when they find out you replaced the pizza with uncooked vegetables. Even your wife will be disappointed because she was prepared to eat ready-made food and not cook. With this prank, you will have to buy actual pizza in the end. A similar prank is offering frozen peas to your child who asked for toys from Frozen. Of course, your baby girl was referring to Disney’s Frozen the animated film but pretend that you thought she meant actual frozen food.

Wrapping a pan as a gift

No one wants to receive a pan as a gift during Christmas because there is nothing special about it. Wrap the pan itself without inserting it into a gift box for the receiver to see the shape before unwrapping clearly. Inside the pan, place an iPhone box. However, do not include an actual iPhone in the box because this is where the catch is. You want the receiver to experience a rollercoaster of emotions that end at a brick wall. Hide one pair of regular socks inside the phone box instead. This way, the receiver will feel better after seeing the phone box, only to find socks inside it.

Getting an Apple Watch

Apple is an admired producer of phones, computers, laptops, and watches. Owning an item from the company is prestigious, therefore anyone would love it.

Except me, I owned one and it just isn’t the same as a tasteful watch you can wear for formal occasions without looking like a millennial. Everyday, fine. Special occasions, tacky.

Let the receiver know that you got them an Apple watch to raise their spirits, but don’t include an actual one. Get a colorless watch with an apple drawing instead and watch how their mood changes abruptly. This would be an incredible way to get off someone’s list without using too much money in the real sense. No one will argue that the gift is an apple watch even though it is clearly not from Apple’s brand.
