Army Veteran Gets Best Seat for Miami-Notre Dame Game

Army veteran, Rob Vicci, after his trip on the Goodyear Blimp

In honor of Veterans Day, Goodyear is treating one deserving military veteran to an unforgettable college football experience — the “best seat in the house” aboard the Goodyear Blimp during ESPN’s College GameDay, and tickets to the highly-anticipated matchup between Notre Dame and Miami.

Goodyear selected U.S. Army veteran Lt. Col. Robert Vicci for this college football experience because of his hard work, determination and grit as a four-year Army Football player, a 34-year decorated combat Veteran and now as CEO of VetREST.

Vicci retired from the Army with combat tours to Iraq where he commanded an Army Blackhawk helocopter battalion.

Before joining the Army, Vicci was a fullback playing at Army.  Highlights of his football career include being a starter and even an upset win over Stanford.

Now Vicci is now dedicated to helping other veterans as the CEO of VetREST.  Their mission is to provide coaches who will help our nation’s veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) discover the cause of their PTS in order to facilitate healing in a supportive environment.
